Production Assistant

Overview:

Our production assistant manages a specific embroidery station that will require embroidering of sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc. This position requires a high attention to detail as each item is made to order under our company guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Hooping/framing of the items to be embroidered.

- Manage the flow of embroidery throughout the shift to ensure the maximum number of orders are being completed by the end of your shift.

- Pulling blank items for embroidery, ensuring they are fulfilled accurately per Girl Tribe’s instructions with the correct type, size, color, thread color, etc.

- Match embroidery files with their orders and embroider the items using the proper hoops, fast frames, stabilizers, etc.

- Troubleshoot any issues as they arise with the machines.

- Clean up stitches and tear/cut away stabilizer, as well as fold items for packaging.

Requirements:

- Depending on position type:

Must be able to work at least 20-30 hours per week. We are currently hiring for the hours of 4PM – 11:30PM Monday through Friday; or weekend availability. Schedule can be flexible but it must remain consistent on a week to week basis.

- Experience with embroidery machines and associated hoops/frames is a plus but not a requirement for this position.

- Ability to be on feet standing/walking up to 7 hours per day.

- Comfortable working around sharp objects like box-cutters and embroidery tools/machines

- Comfortable working with magnetic hoops/frames; caution will be advised when handling.

Screen Printer

Our screen printer role  is responsible for working alongside our production team to follow all production guidelines for our graphic products. We are in an exciting growth stage at Girl Tribe as we continue to expand our product lines and volume for our store locations and ecommerce platforms. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of screen printing throughout the shift to ensure the maximum number of orders are being completed by the end of your shift.
  • Pulling blank items for screen printing, ensuring they are fulfilled accurately per Girl Tribe’s instructions with the correct type, size, color, design, etc.
  • Troubleshoot any issues as they arise with the machines.
  • Fold items and package to be sent to warehouse

Requirements:

  • Depending on position type: Must be able to work at least 20-30 hours per week between the hours of 9AM – 5:30PM Monday through Friday. Schedule can be flexible but it must remain consistent on a week to week basis.
  • Experience with screen printing/machines preferred but not required

Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Assistant:

- Shipping, Inventory Processing and Store Transfer Support

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Operations: 
  • Prepare and package orders for shipment to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to arrange transportation and track shipments.
  • Inspect and verify outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Inventory Processing:

  • Receive and inspect incoming inventory shipments.
  • Label, tag, and categorize products according to established guidelines.
  • Update inventory records in the system to reflect accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.

Transfer to Physical Stores:

  • Facilitate the transfer of inventory to physical retail stores as per distribution schedules.
  • Coordinate with store managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain communication with stores regarding inventory needs and discrepancies.

Tagging and Labeling:

  • Tag and label products with appropriate information, including SKU numbers, pricing, and other relevant details.
  • Ensure compliance with tagging and labeling standards and regulations.

Receiving:

  • Oversee the receiving process for new inventory shipments.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to address any issues related to received shipments.
Warehouse Manager

Overview: 

As the Girl Tribe Co. Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the receiving, transferring, and shipping fulfillment processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards and processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing errors, and enhancing overall warehouse productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to track, manage, and optimize stock levels. 
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to forecast and plan for future inventory needs

Receiving:

  • Oversee the receiving process to ensure timely and accurate acceptance of incoming shipments
  • Inspect and verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Resolve discrepancies and address quality control issues promptly

Transferring:

  • Coordinate the efficient transfer of products between production, warehouse and stores.
  • Implement strategies to minimize transfer time.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels at various locations.

Shipping Fulfillment:

  • Supervise the shipping process to meet customer delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with shipping carriers to optimize costs and delivery schedules.
  • Implement best practices for packaging to prevent damage during transit. 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, direction and support through setting up clear daily and weekly expectations
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and efficiency. 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure all necessary supplies are ordered and kept in stock.
  • Create walk through cadence to maintain expected standards around organization, layout and cleanliness.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety measures.

Fashion + Merchandising Intern

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOME AMAZING FASHION MERCHANDISING INTERNS THIS SEMESTER! THE FASHION MERCHANDISING INTERNS WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH AND REPORT TO OUR WAREHOUSE MANAGER AND RETAIL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR. AMONG OTHER DUTIES, THE INTERN WILL RECONCILE BOXES THAT ARE RECEIVED, STEAM CLOTHING, ASSIST IN AND LEARN ABOUT INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RESTOCKING THE STORE WITH NEW INVENTORY, DROP OFF AND PICK UP MERCHANDISE FROM OUR PRINTERS AND HELP KEEP THE WAREHOUSE CLEAN AND ORGANIZED.

Marketing and PR Intern

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A ROCKSTAR MARKETING AND PR INTERN TO JOIN OUR TEAM THIS SEMESTER!!  THEMARKETING AND PR INTERNWILLWORK CLOSELY WITH AND REPORT TO THE MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR. AMONG OTHER DUTIES THEY WILL ASSIST WITH THE PLANNING AND EXECUTING OF INFLUENCER MARKETING CAMPAIGNS AND EVENTS, WRITE PRESS RELEASES, ASSIST IN CREATING COPY FOR BOTH GIRL TRIBE CO AND GIRL TRIBE POP UP, UPDATE LOCAL EVENT CALENDARS, AND ASSIST WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF BOTH GIRL TRIBE CO PINTEREST AND TIKTOK ACCOUNTS.

IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT ALL GIRL TRIBE CO INTERNS OUTSIDE OF FASHION MERCHANDISING WILL SPEND 30% OF THEIR INTERNSHIP TIME ASSISTING IN FASHION MERCHANDISING IN THE GIRL TRIBE CO WAREHOUSE AND ALL GIRL TRIBE CO INTERNSHIPS ARE UNPAID WITH THE EXPECTATION THAT THE INTERN WILL BE RECEIVING COURSE CREDIT FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR TIME IN THE INTERNSHIP.
